see relatedTahoe Recap from last weekend: Originally there were 10 of us, but it dropped down to 5 because we forgot that it landed on the same weekend as Father's Day. Poor scheduling on our part, but it's sometimes easier with a smaller group. We drove up after work on Friday and had dinner at Mikuni's in Sac. Sat morning we cracked open the PB&J and packacked them for our mini hike to Eagles Fall. 3 SLR's between 5 people makes for a very slow paced stroll. HA HA I think it turned out to be more of a photo opp than a hike. The winning shot was the "chipmunk" by Curtis. Kudos!! (there went a perfectly good PB&J)..although I think it's a squirrel...

that critter certainly looks big enough to be a squirrel, but i can see stripes on his back so he must be a chipmunk.
I wanna watch 'True Blood'! I guess I'll have to wait a while.

Great chipmunk shot! What lens did you use for that shot? Really like the shot of you from low POV. LOL, Corona and a cigar.... what a great way to wind down from a hike!
I heard great things about True Blood, but I cancelled my cable service. Plus I'm trying to watch less TV, but HULU is making that difficult. :P I'll be in trouble when HULU has an app for the iphone....
You "went hiking"? It's a good thing you have pictures to prove it and someone else allegedly went "hiking" that weekend but someone wound up in Argentina.
By the way, have you been losing weight? You look even lighter than your usual slim self.
i *heart* eric. seriously, i am in LOVE with him, the character eric from the show/books, and the actor himself, alexander skarsgard. he's hot!
the book series is really addicting. i think i read the series of 9 books in like a month. haha!
