Waiting for Public Enemies to start...reading Yelp reviews. I really wantto check out the King Tut Exhibition at the De Young & Lords of the Samurai at the Asian Art Museum. 1st Tues of the month is free or first weekend with any BofA card (Tut excluded boo).

see relatedTahoe Recap from last weekend: Originally there were 10 of us, but it dropped down to 5 because we forgot that it landed on the same weekend as Father's Day. Poor scheduling on our part, but it's sometimes easier with a smaller group. We drove up after work on Friday and had dinner at Mikuni's in Sac. Sat morning we cracked open the PB&J and packacked them for our mini hike to Eagles Fall. 3 SLR's between 5 people makes for a very slow paced stroll. HA HA I think it turned out to be more of a photo opp than a hike. The winning shot was the "chipmunk" by Curtis. Kudos!! (there went a perfectly good PB&J)..although I think it's a squirrel...

Charred remains: Debris from a Saturday apartment fire in the building at 2420 Bayshore Blvd. in the Visitacion Valley neighborhood is strewn around Sunday. (Cindy Chew/The Examiner) SAN FRANCISCO — An apartment fire in San Francisco’s Visitacion Valley neighborhood Saturday night sent eight people to the hospital, including one firefighter and three children, a fire lieutenant said.
The blaze was reported at 11:13 p.m. at 2420 Bayshore Blvd. It was under control about 11:45 p.m., the Fire Department reported.
A firefighter was hospitalized after sustaining a minor laceration while fighting the blaze, according to the lieutenant.
The fire also hospitalized seven others, including three children, the lieutenant said. A police officer was treated for smoke inhalation and released at the scene, he said.
The American Red Cross responded to the fire and is providing assistance to the adults and children who were displaced, according to the lieutenant.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.

*click*Dispute Between Neighbors - this is a true story...
Mark Easton, had a beautiful view of the mountains, until a new neighbor
purchased the land below his house and built a new home.
The new home was 18 inches higher than the planning dept had approved, so
Mark Easton, mad about his lost view, went to the local authority to make
sure they enforced the roof line height.
The new neighbor had to drop the roof height, at great expense.
Recently, Mark Easton called the planning dept, and informed them that
his new neighbor had installed some vents on the side of his new property.
Mark didn't like the look of these vents and asked the planning dept to
investigate.
When they went to Mark's home to see what the vents looked like, this is
what they found...
